Non_League_Analyst Obviously it takes time for a player to adjust to a new team/level but Barker who's been playing men's football since he was 17 should not be afraid of coming of his line. I'll still give him the 10 games I'll give all of them but he needs to wise up sharpish if he wants to keep his spot. I know preseason means nothing but I can't see higher then 14th as it stands 🤷♂️.
GoldenGamble 2 sloppy set piece goals, Muller terrific today, he looked more than capable of playing in our midfield, which is a great option. Otherwise, jury on our GK still out. No Westbrooke or Walker starting, all things considered against league above, happy
Paulistano Our passing has improved a lot on last year. Remember Walker and Jones started on the bench, Thought second one was on the GK but chucked him in at the deep end, needs time.
GoalHanger The new guy, Radcliffe, played well, as did Macca, Daley, Spasov, Davies, Westbrook, Jones and Muller. JNW had a good first half. Overall the team played more like a decent team than in earlier PSFs. A good effort all round. Looking forward to the first league game now.
MattCL On the whole, think we played some really nice football, some stand out performances in Muller and JNW for me. I think everyone done well though. Nice to have a squad of players all comfortable on the ball and playing the same way. I don’t think the pre season results have necessarily been a fair reflection of how well we’ve played considering the amount of change player wise. Really attractive football and the more they play together the more in sync it’ll be. I genuinely think this team is more than capable of a playoff finish.
MattCL Non_League_Analyst I think 14th is a little rogue and I think that would be considered quite a failure. Entitled to your opinion but I think there may be some recency bias creeping in there.. let’s wait and see I think it’ll be an exciting season 😄
