Non_League_Analyst Just to give everyone reading this some proper context, I’m not downplaying your points, I just think they need clearing up with specifics. Can you explain plain and simple:

The Trust: What is your exact issue with how they’ve been treated?

Shares: Which fan group should be offered shares, when the Glovers Trust is all but defunct?

Volunteers: Which volunteers were actually let go, and why would the club turn away free help?

Women’s Team: How have they been 'destroyed' when they’re back under club ownership and secured promotion last season?

The Land: What specific communication are you looking for around the land?

Putting some facts behind these claims would go a long way.

I’m sure when I went to the pre-season game the external parts of the stadium had actually been cleaned. In fact, the club did post that Back 2 Market had helped out with this. They also got rid of that graffiti in the Fanzone too.

As for the Fanzone sponsorship, this was also cleared up by the club that it wouldn’t effect the Ciderspace name and they never mentioned that they had a sponsor it was just in the commercial brochure?

Non_League_Analyst Thanks for laying it out. Some points to consider:

Was there a pathway? Easy to give youngsters minutes when the squad is threadbare, much harder when you're stacked with quality. Opportunity changes with ambition, would those players receive minutes this season?

The groundsman was on payroll, not a volunteer. Proof will be in the pudding with how the pitch looks come December.

I imagine they'll wait until a scheme is locked in. Shifting plans to supporters is a recipe for confusion. Better to show a complete, viable project when it's locked in.

Non_League_Analyst That’s exactly why the club shouldn't comment mid process. Early releases create PR disasters like the council land bid confusion around Feb/March. When feasibility studies, underwriting, and council talks are constantly shifting, going public too early just invites misunderstanding. Enjoy the football in the meantime, I'd say.

You start a thread about issues with the club, yet then want to close the thread to stop people disagreeing or arguing with you? You do know what a forum is, it's a place for discussion.

Completely disagree with you on the Trust, and that's all I'm going to say. Though do agree that the online and very public fallout was not a good look.

Then for the volunteers, we have a team of over 20 match day volunteers, which has grown from last season.

Player turnover, can't believe I'm reading this. Would you rather we kept the majority of last season's squad? We didn't just rip the plaster off, the released list was a brutal cull and what was needed. Our summer recruitment has been excellent and obviously in the planning.

GR4H4M Did you read that I was complaining about the women's team? The one that just won the title? Couldn't care less about it with the men's team as that performed poorly but the women's team didnt seem to need high turnover. I didn't want this thread open because of people who just want to start an argument over opinions and the fact you didn't even read any of the above properly isn't a good look. I even deleted the thing after 5 minutes but then it got put back up so 🤷‍♂️.

Non_League_Analyst If half the messages get wiped or constantly changed, the whole thread loses context for anyone else reading. Spending an extra minute to get the thoughts straight before posting saves everyone trying to piece together a puzzle.
